📜 Marriage License & Legal Identity
- Check in with officiant that the marriage license was submitted
- Pick up your marriage license
- Manage any 'name change' tasks (that is a long list!) -- license, passport, social security
💐 Preservation & Keepsakes
- Preservation of flowers, outfits, other
- Create a wedding photo album (with your professional photographer or on your own)
- Review your wedding video
- Order photo prints
- Backup photo and video digitally and physically
- Preserve / store any keepsakes (vows, invitations, other)
🧾 Financial, Legal, and Health
- Update your healthcare provider, dental (marriage is a 'life change' that can impact your coverage)
- Update marital status with your employer
- Update beneficiaries on financial accounts
- Update / create a will
- Coordinate finances
- Update emergency contact information
🧘 Self-Care & Wellness
- Get a massage!
- Check in with therapist / counselor
🏡 Home, Address & Valuables
- Return valuables to the bank, if applicable
- Update jewelry insurance, if applicable
- Manage 'change of address' (that is a long list!)
- Share / connect subscription services or accounts or home devices
✈️ Honeymoon & Travel Prep
- Prepare for any honeymoon travel (pack, passport, out of office)
🧓 Family, Culture & Traditions
- Spend time with out of town relatives (as you're able)
- Visit temple / house of worship if this is important to you / your families
- Submit any payments or tips that may have been missed
- Bride is now free to cut her hair
- Any 'welcome the bride' or 'welcome the groom' rituals your family does
- Visit elders / those not able to attend (example: grandmother in hospital)
