Measurements for Men's Indian Clothes
For a more customized fit, especially for the groom himself:
HEIGHT The usual height measurement, from the top of your head to the floor. WEIGHT Approximate weight. HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE If you are buying a turban, they are usually one size only, but you may be able to check that there is at least potential for it to fit. SHOULDERS From one edge of the shoulder to the other, similar to how a T-shirt fits. LENGTH OF ARM From edge of shoulder to end of wrist, the length of how long you would like your sleeve to be. CHEST Circumference of chest under your armpits. TIRE Widest part of body, perhaps stomach or butt. This is just a precautionary measurement so that your clothes will not be too tight. LENGTH OF TORSO PIECE From top of shoulder to bottom of the knee. LENGTH OF LEGS From waistband to ankle/ lower ankle (where your sneakers fit around your ankle). CIRCUMFERENCE OF KNEE With leg straight. LENGTH OF LOWER LEG Bottom of the knee to the ankle/ lower ankle. CIRCUMFERENCE OF ANKLE Where your sneakers fit around your ankle/ lower ankle. CIRCUMFERENCE OF HEEL Width of heel and ankle. FOOT Ideally you would trace your foot on a paper or cardboard so that you can guarantee the shoe will fit, sizes vary by provider. |
