- Host Approach – host keeps personal planning easy and guests plan their own hotel stay
- Guest Approach – host arranges for guests to stay at a convenient hotel, have pre-negotiated room rates, possibly arranges a shuttle bus to wedding events allowing guests to skip the hassles of driving and getting directions
Invitations:
- Host Approach – invitations are based on individual friendships and not social circles, this allows the host to maximize invites, a person merely in the ‘group’ is left out
- Guest Approach – invite the traditional/expected people to avoid sticky political situations
