The best advice

The best advice I can give to brides and families with a wedding this summer, is to put someone else in charge. Enjoy your wedding day by being present for it.

Smile and laugh with your guests instead of running after the caterer. Hug your family after the ceremony instead of checking the time to see if you are on schedule. Introduce friends and relatives instead of unloading boxes from the car.

Give that huge responsibility of ‘making sure everything goes to plan’ to someone else. A responsible and organized, strong willed friend or relative can fulfill this role, or consider a wedding planner. I myself willingly offer this service and take pride in contributing to the magic of your wedding day. Whether you hand the responsibilities off to a friend or a professional, relieving this strain on yourself will mean that you enjoy the festivities that you have been planning for so long and you remember your wedding day as a celebration instead of a high stress, to do list. So hand over the reins and Enjoy your big day!
